In late September, Austin Smiles took a staff of 36 volunteers– each medical and non-medical on its third medical missions journey to Guatemala because the COVID-19 pandemic started. In only one week, the staff was capable of triage 57 sufferers, carry out 44 surgical procedures, host 12 classes of speech and language remedy and rework a whole lot of lives for the higher.
